La Mia Mamma concept is brilliant. Founder Peppe Corsaro missed his mother’s cooking so much that he decided to bring her over from Italy and start a restaurant business to cater to hungry Londoners. The idea is simple: Italian mothers and grandmothers from each of Italy’s 20 regions are brought to London for a three-month residency. During their stay, they present their authentic, regional recipes, and after their tenure, a new group of mammas from another region takes over.

Barcelona Tapas Bar situated in the centre of Aldgate East, minutes away from the tube station. [GIFTED] We love trying new flavoured sparkling water so when we found out we were ecstatic and the the added bonus was alcohol 😝 2 delicious flavours that we would automatically elevate towards if we saw it at the supermarket!

have 3 different flavours - Tropical Mango, Cherry Acai and Tangy Lemon Lime.

We were sent 2 out of the 3 -

🍒 Cherry Acai - it smelt divine; a red berry smell and a subtle crisp cherry flavour that fizzed in our mouths. It’s refreshing and fruity, brilliant if you fancy something light!

🥭 Tropical Mango was not as we expected, it was crisp and refreshing but we thought the mango was hidden from the tropical flavour, for us it tasted more like tropical pineapple. Nevertheless we were impressed with the bubbles from opening of the can to the end!

If you haven’t tried sparkling water with alcohol you can find them at Tesco, Sainsburys, Ocado & Coca Cola!
