Do you love cooking Indian food? Have you got what it takes to become the very first North East Amateur Indian Master Chef Champion?

After teaching more than 1,400 people the art of Indian cooking, I'm excited to launch a brand-new championship for passionate amateur home cooks from across the North East.

Whether you've learnt from family, taught yourself, or attended my cooking classes, this is your opportunity to showcase your skills and compete for the title.

• Cook one Indian dish using your own original recipe.
• You will have 45 minutes to cook.
• Bring your own ingredients and any specialist equipment you require.
