Mistakes are very expensive feedback. 😅

We received 2,000 Mama Brew boxes with “vitamin” and “sachet” both misspelled. After the initial “HOW DID WE MISS THAT?” moment, we asked a better question: what else about this box could be better?

So we looked at everything.
The design.
The structure.
How easy it is to use.
How clearly it tells you what Mama Brew is.

The answer was: a lot. So we’re rebuilding it.

The next Mama Brew box, and our sachets, are coming to you in the next 4 weeks.

We received 2,000 Mama Brew boxes and discovered two typos.

Vitamin was missing the “n”.
Sachet was misspelled too.

Two words you probably don’t want to get wrong when you sell vitamin coffee… in sachets.

But after the initial “HOW DID WE MISS THAT?” moment, something useful happened.

On Monday, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit the west coast of Colombia and rippled throughout the country and through the coffee region…the same communities behind every cup of Mama Brew. Lives, homes, shops, entire livelihoods, gone in seconds. Our roasters, growers, decaffeinators, and packaging partners are part of our family, and some of them are dealing with this right now.

That’s why for the rest of August, Mama Brew will donate 25% of all sales to earthquake relief.

We’re heartbroken, and we know a lot of you are wondering how to help. So here are three extremely quick but super helpful ways to provide relief:
