Last week, Curious Vines hosted its ‘Performance Under Stress’ psychology workshop, providing mindset support as part of their MW, Road to MS and WSET D3 programme for their Support Award recipients. A highly commendable initiative led by , we were delighted to be able to support such a meaningful and impactful programme.

The workshop was designed to help students perform at their best, both in examinations and in practice, by equipping them with practical tools and techniques to manage stress and overcome performance barriers.

This week, we were delighted to welcome Chiara and Marco from , the newest addition to the Armit portfolio. Situated on the southern edge of Chianti Classico, Fèlsina is a historic estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga, an area renowned for producing Sangiovese of remarkable depth, structure and richness.

We were fortunate to taste the full range, from the beautifully poised Chardonnay, which was fresh, mineral and subtly creamy, through to the 10-year-aged Vin Santo del Chianti Classico Occhio di Pernice, which was truly exceptional: revealing notes of maraschino cherry and salted caramel, layered with savoury, spicy complexity. A wine that left a lasting impression on the entire team.

Naturally, Fèlsina is best known for its precise, pure and expressive Chianti Classico and Gran Selezione wines, crafted exclusively from 100% Sangiovese, which eloquently capture their terroir.

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting a very special evening with Bernhard Ott of .at at , featuring his exceptional Grüner Veltliners from Austria’s Wagram and Kamptal regions.

Founded in 1889, the Ott estate has long been dedicated to crafting expressive, handcrafted Grüner Veltliner. The range showcases the variety’s remarkable versatility - from bright, youthful expressions to the more complex and structured wines from the celebrated single-vineyard (Ried) sites.

It was an honour to welcome Bernhard to London to share his deep insight into these acclaimed wines and the philosophy behind the estate.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the talented Giacomo from Michele Satta to the Armit office. As a representative of Tuscany’s new generation of winemakers, it was a privilege to taste the latest vintages and hear updates from the estate.

The wines were nothing short of stunning- fresh, elegant, precise, and beautifully balanced. Michele Satta continues to overperform, with wines that improve year after year.
