⭐⭐ We’ve won a Great Taste 2-Star Award.

Every product entered into the Great Taste Awards is blind-tasted and judged entirely on flavour. With only around 40% of this year’s entries receiving one or more stars, earning two stars is an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

The judges described Solar Reserve 55 as:
“A gorgeous rum-and-raisin nose… smooth with no harshness, fruity, with dark caramel and a touch of vanilla. Complex and balanced.”

They also discovered “banana and pineapple… Jamaican funk, lightly toasted coconut and dried tropical fruit,” with a finish that “keeps going and unfolding.”

A wonderful recognition for the carefully selected, 3,5 &8 year old Jamaican pot still and smooth Dominican rums that make Solar Reserve 55 what it is.
