Many would agree with classing cheese as "food of the gods". And Greece can confirm it. Classical mythology reminds us that it was Aristaeus, son of Apollo, who taught humans the art of making cheese. Greece’s mountainous terrain is difficult for rearing cattle, so their cheeses are mostly made from goat’s or sheep’s milk, or a mixture of both.
