After hearing so much about the legendary cheese toasty at The Wigmore Pub, I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about.

And now I get it.

The cheese toasty was every bit as good as the hype, and the spiced Scotch egg was so delicious we ordered two portions. Paired with Soho lager and surrounded by beautifully classic British interiors, it made for the perfect Sunday lunch.

I never even got to try the Sunday roast because I was far too busy enjoying that cheese toasty.

If you visit, there’s only one rule: order the cheese toasty.

Fresh catch, done right 🐟✨

Visited London Shell & Co. in Highgate and it completely lived up to the hype. Their fresh fish counter lets you choose your catch — such a brilliant concept.

The lobster was easily one of the best I’ve had in London, full of flavour. The monkfish was just as impressive, and paired beautifully with their selection of wines (don’t miss the white Negroni — so good!).

And the surprise star? Their freshly baked soda bread. Warm, soft, and absolutely addictive. Turns out they sell it by the loaf on Saturdays… safe to say I’ll be back soon 👀

Tucked away on one of the charming cobbled lanes of Hampstead Village, Villa Bianca feels like a little slice of Italy in London. A true family-run gem that keeps drawing us back, time and again.

From their exceptional wine selection to the most flavorful, perfectly crafted pastas, every meal here is an experience. Honestly, some of their pasta dishes could give Italy itself a run for its money. Warm hospitality, timeless ambiance, and food that never disappoints—this place will always be one of our favourites. 🍷🍝

At westend for a Burmese feast! We savored the Fried Seabream, which is their specialty and an absolute must-try! The selection of fritters was the perfect start, and the succulent tiger prawn skewers from the specials were simply divine. 🦐✨

After a whirlwind of renovations, I’m back to my happy place! These masala kheema balls are the perfect way to celebrate! 🎉 Check out the Recipe below. ⬇️

A special shout out to pans! I am in love with their utensils.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
Chicken minced 500 gm
Onion finely chopped- 2 medium sized
Tomato-1 diced
Ginger garlic green chilli paste 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder-2 teaspoons
Turmeric powder -2 teaspoons
Garam masala powder-1 teaspoon
Meat masala- 1 tablespoon
Oil 2-3 tablespoons

Method
1. Make fresh ginger garlic green chilli paste using 2 green chillies, 1 inch ginger and 7-8 cloves of garlic.

2. Mix minced chicken, ginger garlic chilli paste, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and turmeric powder and salt. Add 1 tablespoon mustard oil to the mixture. Make small balls of the spiced kheema.

3. Add a tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry kheema balls on a medium heat till golden brown and fully cooked. Take out all the balls from the pan and add remaining oil to the pan.

4. Add onions and fry till golden brown brown. Add all the remaining spices. You can use any masala of your choice like meat masala/ kheema masala or mutton or chicken curry masala. Once oil starts separating from onion, add tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add kheema balls to the pan and mix well.

5. Add fresh chopped coriander and serve with naan bread or roti.

Enjoy!
