Just welcomed our first Karuizawa bottle into storage. A client picked up this Spirit Asama at auction for £670 all-in - quite a jump from its original £63 RRP.

What's fascinating is how "reasonable" this feels in today's Karuizawa market. Recent record-breaking sales make this vatting of 1999 and 2000 vintages seem almost accessible.

When bottles command these prices, climate-controlled storage with full insurance becomes essential. We've documented every detail and provided a current valuation for our client's records.

It has been a busy few weeks at Bottle Bond bringing new collectors on board and some incredible bottles with them.

One that caught our eye is the Rosebank 21 Year Old Enchantment. It’s the 7th and final release in The Roses series and released in 2023. Matured in bourbon and Madeira casks, bottled at 50.3% ABV, and limited to just 975 bottles worldwide.

Our collector is working to complete the set and plans to open them for a milestone wedding anniversary. Stories like this are why we’re proud to be trusted with such special bottles.
