Brads perfect end to the bank holiday weekend. Beautiful pints of cask from at the legendary and a beef stout stew hotpot to soak it all up with. Heaven. A side of cheesy garlic bread to mop it all up with was pure decadence. What can I say about this amazing community pub that’s won awards till the cows come home. It’s legendary, it speaks for itself. It’s the hub of carshalton with an amazing tap list, impeccable cask offerings, elite level pub snacks and sub £5 beautiful pints of cask. I wish I could pick it up and move it closer so I could visit more often. Truly a great pub. Love & beer bradders x ✌️🍺 KEEP CASK ALIVE 🍺✌️

THE JACK IS ALIVE !!! Happy mayday to you all. We celebrate the coming of summer and new life in the fields with this traditional British mayday celebration. How do I explain Jack in the green to you… it’s basically an amazing pub crawl across deptford and Greenwich led by a dancing tree (a symbol of summer, fertility and renewal to bring in good fortune) and a merry procession of musicians playing traditional instruments. The cask ale is flowing, many revellers have brought their pewter tankards to drink from and happiness and hope fill this little part of south london as we jubilantly ring in the summertime ! Glorious stuff. I’m here all day so please feel free to come join the party and get involved.
