Our second w**ery of English W**e Week 2026 is the one and only Squerryes since 1731 🥂

When we launched The Society of the Silver Sword, we knew we wanted to work with Squerryes. They’re the closest vineyard to our home in south east London (our “local” if you will), and we’d eaten at their wonderful restaurant a couple of times. It made sense to reach out to them first… 👀

What we didn’t reckon on was the sheer warmth of welcome we’d receive into the Squerryes fold ❤️

From Emilia who runs their Members Club to Emily who runs events, to Sam who makes the restaurant such a welcoming place, the whole team brims with enthusiasm and care for what they do 🫶🏻

We believe that’s because owner Henry Warde leads from the front. Before 9am on the morning after the wonderful Summer Garden Party last weekend, he’d already sent a detailed thank you note to his team going into detail about how each person’s contribution to the event made it the huge success it was 🙌🏻

That’s why we’re so proud to work with them. Swords and sparkling w**e are a big part of what we do, but it’s really all about community ⚔️

The Squerryes gang are a truly wonderful bunch and we highly recommend a visit to their w**ery in Westerham this summer, and the 2028 Blanc de Blancs is one of our favourites right now… 🍾
