 What is Raw Milk?

Unprocessed: It goes straight from the cow with nothing added or taken away.

Unpasteurized: It skips the heating process used to treat the milk. So you get all the goodness.

Unhomogenized: The cream is not broken down, so it naturally rises to the top (just like the good old days)

Our raw milk has food miles of 20 meters 😂 (not miles) when you buy our raw milk you can actually see the cows that produce it.

Whole milk in the supermarket is typically 3.7% butterfat this is standard. Our raw milk is usually 4.2-4.3% that’s why it tastes creamer.

As many of you may not know, John isn’t just a milkman… he’s also a professional foot trimmer! 🐄

He’s recently taken the next step and got his own foot trimming machine, so he’s now out and about helping keep cows comfortable, mobile and healthy.

Animal welfare is something we really care about, and healthy feet are such an important part of keeping cows happy and doing well. 🐄💙

A new adventure for John, and one we’re really proud of him for starting!

We had such a lovely visit to Oato 🥛🌱🤍

It was so interesting to see what makes Oato different from other oat milks. It’s made fresh, comes in reusable glass bottles and is barista quality — it froths beautifully, making it perfect for coffees ☕️✨

We also loved seeing how much thought goes into making Oato as environmentally friendly as possible 🌎💚 They have solar panels and are getting closer to becoming carbon neutral, reuse their glass bottles, and even give old wheelie bins a new lease of life by turning them into crates rather than sending them to waste!

Another thing that really stood out to us was how carefully the oat milk is bottled. There are strict processes in place to help ensure the product remains allergen-free, giving customers that extra peace of mind.

We absolutely loved seeing behind the scenes, learning more about how Oato is made and seeing the thought that goes into every bottle. We’re really proud to offer it on our milk round! 🥛🚚💚
