🌸 My first time teaching 🌸

Last night I had my very first experience teaching floral piping! Honestly, I couldn’t be more proud! 🥹

My student had no previous experience with piping buttercream, let alone creating buttercream flowers… and just look at what they achieved!

Watching them go from never having piped before to creating these beautiful flowers was such a rewarding experience. It definitely gave me a little confidence boost and made me realise just how much I enjoy sharing what I’ve learnt with others.

So, what do you think… is teaching something I should pursue?

All you need is ⭐️PATIENCE⭐️

Sometimes i get so fed up when things do not go exactly how i planned them in my head. If the flower didnt pipe perfectly, if things are progessing too slowly....lots of things.

I sometimes need to remind myself that i didnt even pipe a flower until recently. That my first box of florals were not perfect, and in fact was only piped 6 months ago. 5 months ago, i opened this page, and i have done all of this whilst (occaisonally) supply teaching, attending full time university, and being a mum to the best little boy.

Ive come far in the last 6 months. My piping is constantly improving, im getting more orders, my grades are great (something i hope to continue). All the things i want will come to me, i just need to be patient and work hard.

Even though i already knew all of my results, theres still that tiny bit of anxiety that something, somewhere could go wrong and you dont get to pass to next year 😅.

My goal for next year is to continue getting 1st's, but i want at least a minimum mark of 80 in every single module. Currently i think only half of my grades are above an 80%.

Time to start studying for chemistry again 🤣
