A little note about how The Pantry works 🌿 Ive had a few calls and people ask, so here it is!

We are a small, honesty box pantry based right outside our home here on the smallholding.

We are open 2 days a week, where you can pop by and pick up fresh bakes, bread and treats. Everything is homemade in small batches and stocked in the pantry for you to choose from.

If you just fancy something simple like a loaf of bread or a few treats, you’re very welcome to come and buy directly from the pantry — just pop your payment in the honesty box.

Alongside this, we also take pre-orders.

Orders are now open from today for next Friday, with a minimum order of £10. This helps us plan our baking and make sure everything is as fresh as possible.

Just a little note — we are not open this weekend, but we will be reopening on Friday 24th April . We have an event on this weekend so not able to bake.

The leeks are divine and taste so lovely as they have been grown all through the winter.

I’ve been thinking about adding a few more bits… and wanted to ask you.

Would you like to see more vegetarian or vegan options at the pantry?

It’s something I can start to bring in, but I’ll keep it simple and see what people actually enjoy.

I don’t currently cater for food allergies, as everything is made in my own kitchen and I don’t have a separate space for that.

I am looking at trying a different kind of bread — something without flour, which might suit those who prefer to avoid it or have more sensitive tummies.

But just to be clear, I won’t be making anything suitable for coeliacs at this stage.

As always, I’ll keep things simple, fresh, and see what works.

Let me know what you’d love to see 🌿But for now Id like to know who would buy Vegan goodies ??? Message below of DM us

🌟We are so greatful of you all today as we had one of our busiest days so far. So many visitors! 🙏

We sold out of our new bread by 11am and had an influx of cars all at once , so much so my husband couldnt get in the drive after i sent him for more supplies!😯

Still time to get some cakes tho if you havent been!

A little note from us…

The pantry works on honesty. We have an honesty box
It’s simple — take what you need and leave the right amount.

But recently we’ve noticed a few things not quite adding up.

This morning some bread was taken without the full payment,
and last night some jam disappeared with only £2.50 left.

This isn’t the first time, which is really disappointing to see.

We’ve now had to install a camera to protect what we’ve built here — something we never wanted to do.

We really want to keep this as an honesty space, but that only works if people are honest.

So just a reminder to check what you take and pay what is requested

If this continues, we’ll have to rethink how the pantry runs.

Thank you to everyone who supports it properly — it really does mean a lot 🤍 and we are here to bring you lovely food made with heart

Yesterday we sold out of bread and lemon drizzle and lemon and blueberry scones.🎉🎉

We’re open today from 10am.

Fresh bread is on the shelves this morning — made simply with just 4 to 5 ingredients, slow, honest and baked fresh for the weekend.

Alongside our usual loaves, we’ve got our new cheese & onion bread, plus some of your favourites — lemon & blueberry scones more lemon drizzle

It’s the kind of food that makes a slow morning feel like a proper one.

we’ll see you at the box.

Remember we are not open next week and all our loaves can be frozen !

Being healthy is our ethos here at The Pantry.

So now easter is over and we are all sick of chocolate (maybe not all of you out there..) i have made my lovely healthy snack and go bars for breakfast or any time! We make these with our children at our events to teach them healthier options.

Replacing all the golden syrup and sugar, the base of these luxury bars is banana and oats , dried fruit and apricot.

We only use coconut oil to set it not sugar.

Topped with coconut and a drizzle of local honey.

Ready for you to eat and try!
