One of the most unexpected ingredients in our gin? 🌸

Japanese cherry tea.

Delicate, fragrant and softly floral, it’s one of the botanicals that gives Golden Road Gin its elegant finish.

It’s certainly not your everyday gin ingredient… which is exactly why Jen and Phil loved it.

Alongside bright citrus, juniper, fresh bay and gentle spice, it adds that final little something that’s quite hard to put your finger on but very easy to enjoy.

Well... this is rather exciting!

Golden Road Gin is officially a Great British Food Awards 2026 Finalist in the Gin category.

We'll find out the winner in October. Until then... fingers firmly crossed.

Warning: strawberry season won’t last forever… 🍓

Sweet strawberries, fragrant mint and a splash of Golden Road Gin. It doesn’t get much more summery than that.

Meet our Strawberry & Mint Smash…

Here’s what you’ll need:
• 50ml Golden Road Gin
• A handful of fresh strawberries
• 6–8 fresh mint leaves
• 15ml fresh lime juice
• 10ml sugar syrup (or honey)
• Crushed or cubed ice
• Top with soda water

Muddle the strawberries and mint, add the gin, lime juice and syrup, shake with ice, then pour into a glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a fresh strawberry and a sprig of mint.
