Some cakes are more than just cakes… 🤍

This is my grandmother’s Marble Cake, made from her very own recipe. She used to bake one every Saturday when she came to visit us, just so we would have something homemade and delicious to enjoy as a little snack throughout the week.

She is one of the most important people in my life, the only reason I would go back in Greece. 🥹❤️

And here we are, about 21 years ago… me and my yiayia. 🥰

Some recipes carry more than ingredients. They carry memories, love and a piece of the people we miss most. ❤️🇬🇷
