Founded in 1950 by Italo Zaino, a man from Abruzzo region with a big passion for food who moved to northern Italy;
The company rose in a thermal area in the middle of «Colli Euganei» hills surrounded by hotels and restaurants visited by a large ammount of tourists ;
In 1989 Zaino’s merged with Seal, which operates in the retailing sector, to become Seal Zaino, and they moved to the current locatio

During the years the company’s grown at a very fast pace and 1995 the plant will be doubled. In 2003 Seal Zaino became Sicom after a merging with another local company doubling the yearly sales figures. The company plant got a further enlargement;
The company’s retailing shareholders branch got retired in 2006;
Since then, Zaino Foodservice s.r.l. headed by Rocco Zaino, sole director, got back into the business as a ho.re.ca big dealer.
