Baking by Toni is back 🤍

After a rough few weeks with my health and an unexpected hospital stay, I had to take a proper step back and focus on getting better.

I’m finally feeling ready to get back to doing what I love, so I’m really excited to say that Baking by Toni will officially relaunch on 28 August.

I’ll be back with:

✨ My individual cheesecakes
✨ Weekly flavour drops
✨ Market dates
✨ Limited tasting boxes
✨ And a brand new cheesecake treat I’ve been working on

I’m keeping things manageable at first, with limited availability and pre-orders, but I’m so excited to be back and creating again.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s checked in on me and supported the business while I’ve been quiet. I genuinely appreciate it more than you know.

❤️ A little update…

This is a post I really didn’t want to write.

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to cancel both of this weekend’s markets.

Yesterday I ended up in hospital after being hit with a horrible tummy bug. Because I don’t have a large intestine anymore, dehydration can happen really quickly, and my potassium dropped to a dangerously low level. My sodium was low too, and although I’m back home now, I’m still dehydrated and completely wiped out.

I’m absolutely gutted because I was really looking forward to this weekend, but I know I need to listen to my body. I never want to turn up to a market unless I know I can give it 100%, and right now I just can’t.

The perks of having no large intestine, eh? 🙈

Thank you so much for all your support and understanding. I’ll be taking a few days to rest, get myself properly rehydrated and hopefully be back doing what I love very soon.

I'm so excited to be back at Stalybridge Market this Saturday! 🤍

I'll be bringing a table full of homemade cheesecakes, so whether you're coming for a browse around the market or just fancy treating yourself, come and say hello.

🍰 I’ll be back at the Shaw & Crompton Community Market on Sunday 5th July! 🍰

I’ll be there from 10:30am–2:30pm with plenty of cheesecakes and sweet treats.

This month’s market has a fun K-Pop theme and there’s loads going on, including local businesses, artisan stalls, food, a raffle, free kids’ gift bags and a meet & greet with K-Pop Rumi.

Fat Cat Creations will be there too, which always makes market days better! 🖤

I’m really excited to be back at my lovely local cricket club for their Family Fun Day on Sunday 12th July from 10am onwards 🏏☀️

As well as all the family fun, bouncy castles, games, cricket activities and food, I’ll be there bringing plenty of cheesecakes along too! 🤍

Being able to trade in my own hometown always feels that little bit more special, so if you’re local and fancy a mooch, a brew, keeping the kids entertained or just a cheesecake (or three 😏), it’d be lovely to see some familiar faces.

This one went out this morning for a school friend’s twin daughters’ 17th birthday 🎉

Kinder Bueno cheesecake with a digestive base, Bueno pieces folded through the filling, loads more Bueno on top and finished with a kinder chocolate drizzle 🍫🤤

Not gonna lie, I was pretty chuffed with how this one turned out 😍

I love making the individual cheesecakes, but it’s nice doing the bigger celebration cakes too when people trust me with birthdays and special occasions.
