This month’s theme? Peatland Restoration in the Cairngorms National Park

Join us this June and hear from Thomas who has worked as a Cairngorms Peatland ACTION Project Officer for close to 5 years. During this Climate Café, he will discuss the challenges and benefits of delivering peatland restoration in the Cairngorms National Park. The talk will give an insight into all that is involved in planning, designing and delivering these projects in remote and challenging environments.

Join us this May to hear from Hamish on bird life in the area. We will also have a plant/seed exchange for anyone looking to share, swap, or take something home for their garden 🌱

"Hi I'm Hamish, a local bird nerd with academics and professional experience in the world of birds. I'm passionate about the environment and deeply interested in how our changing climate impacts birds. I'll be talking about this and how to identify birds in the Nairn area, followed by a Q&A. If you're into that, I'd love to see you there!"
