As a lot of you know, myself and a small group of amazing volunteers run Soup Sessions during the winter months and Afternoon Teas throughout the summer. Our regular service users really look forward to coming along, not just for the food, but for the company, conversation, and sense of community 💛

To help us continue running these sessions, we are holding a raffle to raise much-needed funds.

🎟 Raffle Prizes
🥇 1st Prize: 12 Rose Cupcakes
🥈 2nd Prize: 12 Viennese Whirls
🥉 3rd Prize: A box of fudge

💷 £1 per number, the number start at 1 (one) and will continue until the 13th
📅 Drawn on 13th March 2026 – just in time for Mother’s Day

💳 Payment methods: Cash, bank transfer, or PayPal all payments will be donated to DD Soup & Delights.

Every number bought really helps us to keep going, and we truly appreciate all your support. Thank you for helping us make a difference 💕

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Valentine’s themed soup session today.
it was so lovely to see you all!

On the menu we had:
🥣 Cream of Tomato Soup
🥣 Carrot & Sweet Potato Soup (which was a massive hit!)
🍰 Treacle Tart
🍓 Jam Sponge with Custard

We’re so grateful for your continued support it really makes these sessions so special.

I’m delighted to announce that my home kitchen has achieved a 5-star food hygiene rating for DD Delights (cakes and desserts) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This now matches my 5-star rating for DD Soup, making DD Soup & Delights officially 5-stars all round!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today to DD’s Soup & Delights!

Homemade menu was full of comfort and love:
🥣 Corned beef stew with dumplings
🍅 Cream of tomato soup
🍞 Bread
🍮 Bread & butter pudding with custard
🍚 Homemade rice pudding

It was a pleasure to serve such a hearty meal, and we’re so grateful to be able to share good food with our community. Thank you for all the kindness, donations and support ❤️
