Despite the heat, we’ve had an amazing week at Lou Lou’s Larder and have loved seeing so many familiar faces — along with some lovely new ones too! ☀️💛

This week we’ve also been busy delivering dinners and beautiful summer platters so our customers can relax and stay cool in the heat.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next week at Lou Lou’s!

Despite still having no oven, we’ll be open tomorrow from 9am–2pm.

We’ll still be serving breakfasts, toasties and sandwiches, chips, and our delicious cakes. On the specials board tomorrow we have:
• Scampi and chips
• Frittata with salad and new potatoes

Apologies for the late menu post — we’ve had a bit of a kitchen disaster as the oven has broken!

But we’ve rallied round, done a food shop, and brought in some slow cookers and an air fryer so we can still serve up some wonderful specials this week 🍽️

This week’s specials are:
• Sausage casserole with mash or new potatoes
• Pork stroganoff with mash or new potatoes
• Asparagus quiche with side salad and new potatoes
• Ham, egg and chips

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful customers for donating a hob and fryer to Lou Lou’s Larder ❤️

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us, and thanks to you we can finally start serving the long awaited chips everyone has been asking for! 🍟

Having a proper hob has also completely transformed our kitchen — no more feeling like we’re cooking in a camp kitchen every day! It’s made such a difference to how we work and what we can offer our customers.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support from our community. Small acts of kindness like this help local businesses more than you know.
