Launch day curiosity got the better of me… 👀
Had to try the new chicken roll from Greggs while it was fresh out the gate 🔥🥐
Golden, crispy, and definitely one people are going to be talking about 👀
Worth the hype?

For lunch earlier, I had Lidl GB “Chinese style stir fry” a little chicken stir fry box with everything you need included. Just over 10 minutes in the pan then another 2 with the sauce, rice waiting patiently in the rice cooker (another special buy…)

For a ready made quick meal it was very nice, a very typical Chinese taste to it (think your five spice and similar garlic, cumin, chilli etc)

All in all good to have one in if you know one lunchtime or evening time is at a premium.

Serves 2 (or one if you’re a greedy so and so…. And find it incredibly moreish…)

First “new” thing I’ve made in a while, this is from Kwoklyn Wan’s latest book “Chinese Made Easy”

Sweet Garlic Chicken (wirh rice) - as always the method and recipe easy to follow and all using stuff I’ve got in (oyster sauce may be the only one some people need to get in).
