Family Feasting Burger 8 Bedlington

Cutting straight to it, we smashed our way through:
The Number 3 🍔 🌶
Peri Peri Chicken 🍔 with Halloumi (their current monthly special)
Fiery Chicken Loaded Fries 🔥
Buffalo Wings
Chicken Tenders
Kinder Bueno Shake🥤

The number 3 🍔 was as great I remember from my last visit and the Peri Peri Chicken was a beaut... so fresh 👌

The wings are just how I like them, full of seasoning and crispy skin 😋

If I had to pick a favourite from our feast it would probably be the Fiery Loaded Fries, they had the perfect level of spice and truly loaded in every sense of the word!!

loved her huge Chicken tenders and the seasoned fries that came with the burgers... and obviously she took the shake 🤷‍♀️😂

Burger 8 have multiple sites, including Burger 8 and are a family run business... My favourite kind to support!
This was a gifted visit but I've visited their other sites and paid in the past... I may not live close to them but its certainly worth the drive 😋

90 minute, all you can eat Dakwala Bombay Canteen

Headed along for an overdue mate date a couple of weeks ago & made the most of the cracking deal Sunday deal they have on... It was £19.95 and we certainly got our money's worth

Between us, we managed 5 of the starters... 2 x Samosa Chaat, 2 x Fenungreek Chicken Tikka & 1 Fish Koliwada

The mains we had were Parsi Chicken Dhansak & Chicken Chettinadu 🌶
Both mains come with pilau rice, butter naan & gunpowder chips to share

We were absolutely stuffed even though there was technically time for more 😂
We finished with a lush masala chai tea and a thankfully small portion of their gulab jamun with ice cream

Another beautiful meal at one of my absolute favourite Indian restaurants!
This deal is definitely not one to miss... hopefully they keep it around it for a while

Thought I'd try something different from the last time I visited... so went for their Fuel-Good Protein Bowl

This things was loaded... definitely not the light bite I was planning to have, but also zero retreats on getting it... a rare but lush change from my usual large 🌯 order!

Banging flavours as always and well worth the £12 👌

I feel like a changed woman... my first ever Buddha Bowl!

Not so long ago you wouldn't have got me anywhere near something like this... anyone who knows me well or who's followed my page for a while will understand why!
I don't have the nickname 'salad dodger' for no reason 😂

But I have to say I really enjoyed this... really fresh with a nice mix of flavours and I just love Halloumi, so thats a win!

Paired with a long walk and very overdue mate date, this was definitely one of my healthier days 😁

Mother Daughter Date

We had a trip up to Morpeth on Friday for a beautiful Indian meal @ Savoy

Starting strong on the small plates, we chose:
Lamb chops for myself and Chingri Achar (Grilled Tiger Prawns) for my Mam... Both beautiful dishes, packed with flavour 👌

For mains, I had the Kadai Lamb and Mam had the Kashmiri Chicken Rogan Josh. Both medium heat and not shy on the meat content, which is always a great thing!
We shared the saffron pilau rice and garlic naan to go with our curries

All in all, a lovely evening... beautiful restaurant with equally beautiful food. Would highly recommend this place if you love a good curry

did a pop up recently... and even though I'd already been to the Mexican Standoff at Wylam for lunch, I couldn't miss this... so I had the ultimate Mexican day and went here for tea 😁

Not my first rodeo with Fresa and obviously wont be my last... they are pop up in different places but also have their van outside The Alexandra pub in North Shields (open most days)... oh and they do a banging Sunday lunch too, so go check them out!
