Set deep in the heart of County Down countryside amidst rolling drumlins, Springmount Farm is a traditional Ulster farm dating back to the 18th century with its origins firmly rooted in its locality. It is a family run business which has been in the same family for three generations and has been worked as a mixed farm. There have been poultry on the farm for nearly 100 years along with dairy cows,

horses and pigs. Today the farm provides a home for a flock of Free Range hens which are encouraged to roam over the surrounding pastures. They are managed in a respectful manner so as to provide a healthy and safe environment. To meet the demands for freshness, hygiene and traceability, the farm has developed a modern system of free range which combines the old fashioned farming virtues with the best in agricultural science and technology. In doing so, the hens enjoy a calm, stress-free and peaceful life. A contented hen is a happy hen and one which will provide you with a totally natural and nutritious delight. We strive to provide meticulous farm-management and husbandry skills in providing you with an affordable natural Free Range egg full of goodness which we believe quite frankly is …second to none!
