One for the memory books!

For those who don’t recognise this handsome man, this is Andrew, one of my closest and bestest friends and we have known each other since we were little kids in nursery.

Both myself and Andrew have been through a lot, but we have been through it all together as friends, he is an absolute warrior and an inspiration to myself and many others. Andrew has been nothing but supportive of me and my adventures for my entire life! He’s a good man and even better friend.

He popped down to the trailer on his way back from the gym, ordered a toasted pastrami bagel and absolutely loved it. You’ll probably see him around the trailer more as he’s always on the hunt for a high protein low cal meal, so say hi and show him some love back, because he deserves it! ♥️

We are doubling up our bagel busting events this week!

Our next bagel adventure lies over at Gather North Events’ West Auckland Farmers and Indie market this Sunday!

At the event you can find fresh fish & seafood, farmer-butchers, artisan bread, local cheeses, preserves, chutneys & honey, world foods, b**r & c***r and every type of cake, bake, pie & pastry you can hope for - including a designated vegan & gluten free stall! It is an absolute pleasure to be included in the lineup for this amazing celebration of fresh, local food produce and we can’t wait to see you all there ! Hello September !!!

Just want to give a quick update as we head into the autumnal months!

We are still on the road all throughout the coming months so keep an eye out for our pop ups! We are hitting a range of business parks to local farmers markets to our classic community markets! I will keep you all posted on our locations as and when!

We are also looking to revamp our menu heading into the winter season so expect a couple changes here and there, but don’t worry all the favourites are still here, just minor tweaks!

Summer was an amazing time to make bagels, and we want to carry that momentum forward into the winter months. We are on the constant look out for events and pop ups so if there is somewhere you think we’d fit in please get in touch and we will try our best to accommodate !

Also want to give a massive shoutout to Kyle as his hard work and literal manpower has helped us run to the capacity we have done. His skills in the kitchen are appreciated by all and the feedback we both receive has been amazing to hear!

A beautiful way to round off the month at Gosforth Central Park the other day!

Bagels were busted, and we received lots of amazing feedback from customers, passers by and event organisers which genuinely brought a tear to my eye. It’s so nice to see all the hard work paying off. Bringing joy (and bagels) to the people of the north east is what we set out to do and we are so happy to be doing so.

We also may have found our next pickle supplier so keep an eye on that one 👀

We’re revamping our menu as we head into the autumnal months of the year, so our beloved ‘Strawberry Sando Bagel’ is taking a step back while we introduce something new!

It’s giving autumn. It’s giving warm and cosy. It’s giving toasted. It’s giving sweet with a touch of warm spice. And I’m giving too much away!

Urban Park Market

Serving bagels in Tynemouth has been the dream since the beginning of this little journey of ours. This was our first event on home soil and we are so grateful for this experience. From the wonderful owners and staff over at the Tynemouth Lodge, to the friends and family that visited us on the day, you all made it happen and for that we are forever grateful.

The weather was gorgeous and the music was second to none, so thank you to all the bands that played as well, because you made this first rodeo even more special for us.

Thank you again for all the love and support we have received over the past weeks leading up to this event. It is truly what keeps us and many small businesses going.

We hope to be busting bagels in Tynemouth again in the near future, so we will see you all very shortly! ♥️ 🥯
