We are the bagel bros !

There comes a moment when you stop looking at how far you still have to go, and instead look back at how far you’ve already come.

I am incredibly proud of where we are right now and who we are becoming. There have been so many early mornings and long days out at the trailer, about a million expected setbacks and two million unexpected ones. But we are fueled by our vision to make this work and our determination will keep us going for many years to come.

Taking a leap of faith at 23 and 24 years of age is a big risk, huge actually. We are often told we’re too young to know what we’re doing. But what we have both learned after a month of being open, is that dreams don’t care how old you are, they only care how hard you’re willing to work for them.

A massive thank you to Kyle, who has been my right hand man through all of this. Through thick and thin, he has put blood sweat and tears into making this work so far. And as well, a massive thank you to all our friends and family who have supported us so far. You are what makes us push forward and you are what keeps us going through it all. We love you all.

As I say we are so proud of how far we have come, but we are even more excited about where we are going!

Our dream is only just beginning. And boy are we living it! ♥️

It really is the people that make a business.

For the past two years, all my friends over at Village Hotels have heard nothing but me talking about bagels, food trailers and this amazing idea of putting the two together.

Throughout that time I’ve been lucky enough to receive support, advice, encouragement and more than a little patience from my colleagues. So the other day was our chance to give a little something back.

Me and Kyle supplied lunch for all staff members as a small thank you to the people who have backed us from the very beginning.♥️

Some things confirm what we already knew.

One of those was just how popular our pastrami is, selling out in under 15 minutes. That being said, it’s easy to focus on what you serve, but days like this remind us that it’s really about the people you serve it to ♥️

So to all the staff. Thank you. Your support is not gone unnoticed.

Excited to announce we will be busting bagels again at Wideopen Football Club this Friday over at Lockey Park!

Last time out the bagels went down a treat so get yourself down for our tasty classics! We will be open to the public for walk-ins as well as those attending the sessions.

Introducing our Garlic Bread ‘Bagel Bites’ 🥯 🧄

Take a bit of Badens Bagels back home with you with our cute little bags of chopped up bagels. Comes with a handwritten recipe card with our recommended instructions.

We like to turn ours into little garlic bread bagels and I promise you if you sprinkle a little bit of Parmesan on here you are in heaven.

If our toaster is on we will gladly whack them in for you here as well!

Action shots from our first little rodeo out !!!

What an amazing day to make bagels, the sun was shining, wind minimal, the air was clear! We’d do it all over again, and we will!

Again a massive thank you to everyone who popped down, including special guests Char and her gorgeous younger sister Amanda, who coordinated her hair and outfit to match the trailer ! ♥️

These two are big fans of our bagels, with their favourites being Pastrami and Cream Cheese Schmear! Always happy to see a familiar face down at the trailer 🥰

The menu.

This is our menu after months of trial and error and creating little bits and bobs along the way. From classics such as Bacon Egg and Cheese, Pastrami, and Smoked Salmon Lox, to bold choices such as the Cream Cheese Schmear and the Halloumi.

But they all have one thing in common. Balance. Combinations chosen based on how they work together, richer fillings paired with subtle flavour notes and fresh ingredients all elevated by their quality.

Every bite comes with intention to satisfy and both me and Kyle believe that food can be both simple and exceptional when it is done well. So come try out our bagels. We’ll make you a very good, very traditional bagel. It’ll be as if you’re eating the first bagel you ever ate. Come hungry.
