🌱 **Supporting Our Community, Reducing Food Waste** 🌱

Did you know the Community Larder helps provide affordable food while preventing perfectly good food from going to waste?

The Larder is available to residents across the Chet Valley, including Loddon, Chedgrave, Hales & Heckingham, Langley & Hardley, and Sisland.

🛒 Food Bags Available
For a suggested donation of just £1, registered members can collect a food bag during our open sessions.

📍 Need to Register?
Our friendly volunteers are available at Loddon Library:
🗓️ Mondays: 12pm – 1pm
🗓️ Saturdays: 1pm – 2pm

They can help with:
✅ New registrations
✅ Food bag collections
✅ Food and cash donations

❄️ Community Fridge & Donation Shelves
Our donation shelves and community fridge are available throughout the week.

We welcome:
🥕 Fresh fruit and vegetables
🥫 Tinned and cupboard foods
🥛 Long-life products

🌱 Support the Community Larder & Reduce Waste! 🥕🍞🥫

Your generosity helps keep our community strong! If you're able to donate fresh foods, such as vegetables, fruit, baked goods, or tinned, dry, or long-life items, we'd be incredibly grateful.

🍎 Got an allotment or a home garden? If you have surplus fruit and vegetables, you can donate them through the Community Larder to help others in need.

❄️ Introducing our Community Fridge! You can also donate items requiring refrigeration—just ensure they’re within their USE BY date.

📦 Helping us reduce waste: If you receive food bags from us, we would greatly appreciate it if you could return the paper bags after use. This helps us keep costs down and reduces waste.

🤝 Need assistance? Our volunteers are here to help! Join our drop-in sessions every Monday (12-1 PM) and Saturday (1-2 PM), where volunteers can assist with registrations, food bag collections, and donations.

💙 A Huge Thank You to Making A Difference Locally💙

Everyone at Chet Valley Community Larder would like to extend our thanks to MADL Charity for their recent donation. All donations help us continue supporting local individuals and families across the Chet Valley who are facing financial pressures and food insecurity.

All donations are vital to keeping the larder running. Every contribution helps us stock our shelves, provide affordable food bags, reduce food waste, and ensure that nobody in our community has to go without essential food and household items. As demand continues to grow, the support of local charities, businesses and residents makes a real difference to the lives of people right here in our community.

If you need support, the Community Larder is open to residents across the Chet Valley area. Food bags are available for just £1, and we also welcome anyone who may need a helping hand. Full details on how to register and access the service can be found here:

📢 Bank Holiday Weekend Update 📢

There will be a slight change to our drop-in sessions over the Bank Holiday weekend.

📍 Our volunteers will be available at Loddon Library on:
🔹 Saturday 23rd May | 1PM - 2PM
🔹 Bank Holiday Monday 25th May - CLOSED
🔹 Thursday 28th May | 12PM - 1PM

Our shelves remain open during Open Library hours, and any donations are greatly appreciated.
