Our Valentine’s drop is LIVE ❤️

We’ve roasted up something special for Valentine’s – our new Guatemalan from Jabiru. Lemon, almond, peach, toffee. It’s a limited lot, and honestly, it’s a delight. Sweet, juicy, clean acidity. Smooth toffee base with peach on top. This one’s going to go quick!

Our new limited run ‘Coffee Lover’ cap from local legends just landed too! Grab one while you can!

We’ve also bundled some things up with cheeky discounts because Valentine’s seemed like a good excuse. Coffee, caps, brewing gear, workshops – take your pick.

2026 upgrades in progress…. ✅ You know that old friend that no matter how long you’ve not seen them, hanging out is just easy, no matter how long it’s been!? Well, we had the absolute delight of seeing our old friends this week and the chance to install their brand new + E60 GBW sync system - and my oh my what a bad boy combo that’s turning out to be..

✨ Christmas Coffee Drop: El Bosque is here! ✨

Apple • Marzipan • Raisin

Our festive exclusive this year comes from Finca El Bosque, a beautiful farm tucked deep in the cloud-covered hills of San Fernando, Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua. This lot is a naturally processed dream — sweet, warming, and basically Christmas in a cup.

The Peralta family have been pushing specialty coffee forward since 2008, and we’ve been lucky to roast their coffees for years. This lot was dried slowly on raised beds for up to 30 days, hand-turned three times a day (because good things take time… especially at Christmas).

Expect cosy vibes, fruity sweetness and that marzipan finish that makes you want to put on a questionable festive jumper.

We’re on the lookout for a Coffee & Community Lead in our hometown of Nottingham! A people-loving, problem-solving, coffee-fuelled legend who’ll be the face of Outpost in the East Mids.

You’ll:

• Support and train our local coffee partners ☕️
• Troubleshoot small engineering issues 🛠
• Help out at events and festivals 🎪
• Spread good vibes and great coffee every day 🌞

We’re looking for someone who’s:

• Friendly, proactive, and full of initiative
• Great with people and coffee
• Confident driving locally
• Hands-on, reliable, and up for an adventure

🇲🇽 Cajpe Lak, Washed - Mexico

“Cajpe Lak” means Coffee Flower in Tsetsal, the language of the Mayan Tsetsal people of Tenejapa. The name reflects the deep bond between coffee and culture in this region - where coffee isn’t just grown, it’s lived 🫶

Grown by smallholder Tsetsal families across the highlands of Chiapas, this coffee carries generations of care, tradition, and respect for the land. Each lot is a reflection of patient hands and ancestral knowledge passed down through time.

👉 In the cup, it’s bright and refreshing - think lemonade, red berries, and vanilla. A gentle reminder of where it comes from: vibrant, balanced, and full of life.

New guest spot alert!

The Botanist in Brighton - an absolute gem of a shop serving banging coffee and surrounded by some seriously beautiful plants - is now brewing Outpost on batch!

If you’re around, pop in, grab a brew (or two), and maybe a leafy friend to take home. Great coffee, great vibes, and even better company.

Just a week ago we were at - and what a day it was! ☕💥

Another year, another brilliant festival showing off just how special this city’s coffee community is. Huge thanks to everyone who came by, said hi, and shared a brew (or three) with us!

The full Outpost Crew showed up, brewing Banko Gotiti Washed Ethiopia on espresso and two absolute bangers on filter - Shikankoni Washed Burundi and Las Brisas Colombian Natural Ombligón, our special micro lot roasted just for the festival.

And yes - James was there too, but mostly hiding behind the camera, capturing all these amazing shots of the team in action. 📸

Ever heard of Ombligón? It’s one of Colombia’s newest and most intriguing Arabica varietals - a little wild, super sweet, and packed with flavour. 🍒

We’ve just dropped a new blog (post no.6 👀) all about it - where it comes from, how it grows, what makes it different, and why producers and roasters are getting so excited about it.

👉 Ours comes from Finca Las Brisas in Huila - naturally processed, bursting with Gummy Fruits, Cherry Cola and Lemon, and easily one of the most fun coffees we’ve brewed this year.
