So much yummy Star Seed Soup this past month and we are now delivering out to Travelodges as those housed there get no hot food. We don't normally deliver but in this weather and with the roadworks it is either that or stop until the works are over. We are short of some essentials and you funding someone ensures lots more are sent out.

Soups this week have been sweet potato & chorizo and roasted tomato & lentil. Until Clockwork Kitty is open again Star Seed Soup is being delivered out to those who opted in on the food bank list for Okehampton Community Kitchen and Foodbank .

On this crazy weather I'm making today's Star Seed Soup a lovely warming tomato, homemade tomato & wild garlic paste, ginger and zhoug. Delivered out today to those in emergency need and served tomorrow at my business Clockwork Kitty . Just pop in and say Star sent you to collect soup if you need a free pick-me-up or buy one which in turn funds others to go out free.

Beat Monday blues with homemade Star Seed Soup at £4. Each one feeds two other people free. This project was set up by me in memory of my beautiful friend Jane who would have fed the world if she could and would have loved knowing that in 2025 over 1000 free soups have gone out; some funded by others and some just soup made from veg that was donated. Jane loved nutrition and cared deeply about people. I love this project so much.

Today's healthy community lunch was pork, apple & olive casserole. Perfect for the first colder day of autumn. These meals are free to those struggling to access hot food and funded by food donations and sales of soup. They are prepared at the Okehampton Community Kitchen registered kitchen with a 5* food hygiene rating.

Huge thanks to Beanfeast for donating sweet potatoes for tomorrow's free soup. I'm a bit rubbish at updating this page! As we head into Autumn I will be posting some lovely soup recipes to help you make the most of our lovely seasonal produce.
