'We hae meat' is a family-owned butchers based in the glorious Ayrshire countryside just outside Girvan. We pride ourselves on producing a Quality Assured, multi-award winning range of premium, handcrafted meat products. We use both meat from our family farm in Ayrshire and from other carefully selected sources.

People ask what farming looks like. Honestly? It looks different every single day. Some mornings it's mist rolling across the fields before the sun's even up. Some days it's chasing sheep that have absolutely no interest in going where you need them. Other days it's standing still for a minute, watching the cattle graze, the llamas doing their thing, wildflowers catching the light - and thinking yeah, this is it.

It's not glamorous. It's early starts, late finishes, mud on everything and plans that change with the weather. But it's real. Every blade of grass, every animal, every season - it all matters. It all connects. And at the end of the day, knowing that what leaves our British farms is something we're proud of? That's the bit that keeps us going.

Why do we do this every day? Because we love it. Simple as that. The 4am starts, the 16-hour days, the loneliness, the heartbreak - farming doesn't care about your plans or the weather. But when you walk the land and see it all come together, when you reap what you sow - there's nothing like it. Nothing. This isn't a job. It's a life. And we wouldn't have it any other way. πŸŒ…
