BIG JOB ALERT ⚠️
Sun is out. Mower is out. Hay must be made.
Dad done an initial run but the bolts keeping the under plate on rattled off. We removed it to check the inside and found the fl**ge connecting the plate to the drive rotor had a large crack in it.
A weld was made. Mower reassembled and dad was back out that same evening.

One of the grass mowers hard at work in the back meadow.
After the April rains and the period of sun in May, we have experienced some seriously explosive growth.
Not just in our crop fields but also in all areas of foliage, grass, bushes, anything green essentially.
Things got messy fast. So instead of facing the grief of messing with the mower, we thought we should employ a couple of the automatic mowing machines we have available. They’re doing a good job so far.

Personally I want a goat but mum fears for the lives of her bushes and flowers. We’ll revisit that conversation at a later date.
