Jaume Serra Vintage Cava Brut Nature from Lidl…
Normally I’d avoid a Brut Nature but I brought this without reading the back of the bottle 🙈😅.

Honestly - for under £10 this absolutely spanks all the fizz I’ve tried from Aldi as well as several from Sainsbury’s too!

Guess who’s back? 🥳🤩

Kicking off the weekend — and my first w**e video in about a month — with an absolute beauty from Romania. 🇷🇴🍷

This Incanta Fetească Regală is fresh, aromatic and seriously delicious. If you’re a fan of Pinot Gris, Viognier, Riesling or unoaked Chardonnay, I reckon you’ll absolutely love this.

Loads of flavour, ridiculously easy to drink, and one I’d happily go back to again and again. 😍😋

10/10 from me.

Tesco have quietly added a Finest Southern Oregon Pinot Noir for £15.50, and it’s a genuinely interesting find.

Oregon has built an outstanding reputation for cool-climate Pinot Noir, producing w**es packed with bright cherry, raspberry and cranberry fruit, balanced by freshness and elegance rather than heavy, jammy flavours.

The best bit? Oregon Pinot Noir isn’t usually cheap. A branded bottle from an independent w**e merchant will often cost considerably more than this, making Tesco’s price look rather attractive.

If you’ve ever wanted to see what all the fuss is about with Oregon Pinot Noir, this could be one of the most affordable ways to do it.

Austrian Grüner Veltliner from Morrisons 😍

Fresh, zippy and packed with citrus and green apple flavours. Crisp, refreshing and a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.

One of the nicest supermarket white w**es I’ve had in a while. Easy 10/10 😋

Bowler & Brolly is Aldi’s own brand that’s made in partnership with Lyme Bay W**ery down in Devon - and I generally like LBs own stuff so I was very interested when I saw this yesterday, especially at £5.99 … unfortunately my curiosity was quickly stamped out upon trying it last night.

A decent Bacchus should have notes of Elderflower, Gooseberry, Lime & Grapefruit and a zingy acidity…
This one has some elderflower and white flower notes and that’s it.
It’s not revolting it’s just beige. I give it 1/5 frankly.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve heard someone say, “Nothing beats Ch*****ne.”

Maybe they’re right.

Maybe they’re not. 😉

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that price, reputation and fancy labels don’t always tell the whole story.

Pinot Blanc deserves more attention 🍷

This one from Trimbach in Alsace is a solid 10/10 😍😋.

Think somewhere between Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Riesling in style.

If NZ Sauvignon Blanc sometimes feels a bit too sharp or grassy for you, this could be your new favourite curveball.
