l’s Kitchen has grown into two main areas: event and corporate catering, alongside our increasingly popular Food to Go range, which we produce and distribute to local shops, garages and other independent retailers. I felt there was a real gap in the market for fresh, substantial food when you’re out and about. A flimsy sandwich that leaves you hungry an hour later just wasn’t good enough! So, we set about creating our own range of generously filled sandwiches, wraps, salads and other grab-and-go options. Everything is made with the same philosophy — fresh, tasty, filling food that keeps you going throughout the day. Today, Hel’s Kitchen supplies nine locations across the local area, from SPAR stores to petrol stations, and we’re continuing to grow as new stockists come on board. When you choose Hel’s Kitchen, you’re choosing much more than a sandwich. You’re supporting a local Welsh business that creates local jobs, works with other local businesses and puts money back into our local economy, rather than automatically choosing one of the big national brands. 💚
🌱 Sustainability matters to us too
We believe growing a business shouldn't have to come at the expense of the environment. Our packaging is recyclable or compostable wherever possible, and we're continually looking at ways to reduce waste and make our production more sustainable. We're also exploring greener energy options for our equipment and, as the infrastructure develops, we'll look towards electric vehicles for our deliveries. We know there is always more that can be done, and we'll continue looking for practical ways to reduce our environmental impact as Hel’s Kitchen grows. Whether we're preparing a corporate lunch, catering for a wedding or celebration, or making the sandwich you grab on your way to work, the same principles apply:
