🎯 Job Title: Full-Time Primary Arable Operator
📍 Location: Holmewood Estate, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

About Us:
Holmewood Estate is a progressive, close-knit family-run arable farm located near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. We manage 1,900 acres of combinable crops using conservation and regenerative farming techniques, including no-till and cover cropping. Our operations also include 200 acres of woodland and various other diversifications.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Spraying (plant protection products & foliar nutrition) with Horsch Leeb trailed sprayer.
✅ Drilling cash and cover crops with a Dale or Sly Boss drill.
✅ General arable farm tasks such as loading lorries, rolling crops and carting.
✅ Maintenance of machinery and farm infrastructure.
✅ Contributing to general arable operations as needed.
Person Specification:
✔️ Enthusiastic machinery operator who has a real interest in conservation farming.
✔️ Confident and safe operating modern tractors and machinery.
✔️ Happy to work both independently and as part of a team.
✔️ Spraying and drilling experience desirable but training and support will be offered to someone who wants to learn these key arable tasks.
✔️ A positive outlook and commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
