What a trip to Loch Insch 🎣✨

We delivered a stunning batch of our Rainbow trout and had the pleasure of seeing them in action straight away. Up early, we watched the first season ticket holders out on the water at 5:30am… and what a start to the day! Rods bending, fish jumping, smiles all round – it was just brilliant to see.

We stayed until around 7am and they were catching beautifully… and it didn’t stop there. Phil called me later that afternoon and said the fishing had been like it all day! He was absolutely delighted, saying the fish were like no others they’ve had in a while – strong, full of energy, and giving a proper fight. A few even got away… but that’s all part of the fun, isn’t it!

This is exactly what we pride ourselves on. Our fish are incredibly fit and healthy thanks to the constant flow of water they swim against every day. They’re well-fed, well cared for, and it shows in their quality and performance.

To receive two amazing reviews in less than a week really does say it all 🙌

It’s been a busy morning already with more enquiries from Scotland to follow up – and long may that continue!

We had the pleasure of calling in to see Garry Hunter at Kinross Fishery & Activity Centre today – thank you so much for the warm welcome, the coffee, and the brilliant tour. It’s always inspiring to see the passion and effort that goes into creating such a fantastic place.

Reflecting on yesterday’s delivery whilst a service station on the way back homeward bound to Ellerburn. What a fantastic places with amazing people. Beautiful peaceful & professionally run.

We were privileged to wake up to a beautiful sunrise an a short tour of the lochs with Phil & and lovely breakfast from Claire!

Thank you so much to all those that helped us unload and a fabulous super provided by Aimee and Wilma!

There’s something truly wonderful about days like this… and we are SO excited! ✨

Today we’re heading up to Scotland to deliver our trout to two new fisheries – Loch Insch & Glen of Rothes. The lorry is being loaded as we speak and we’ll be setting off around 7am!

I’m really looking forward to meeting Phil, Claire & Wilma at Loch Insch, and Brett at Glen of Rothes. It means such a lot to us to see where our fish begin their next chapter and the waters they’ll now call home.

From our farm to some of Scotland’s most beautiful fisheries… we hope these trout bring excitement, memorable catches, and real joy to everyone out on the water 🎣🏴

Feeling incredibly grateful to receive this kind message from Cancer & Pisces Trust following today’s delivery at Swinton Park 🎣

It was an honour to support such a meaningful day, providing 100 rainbow trout for this wonderful charity. The work they do—helping people living with cancer experience the joy and peace of fly fishing—is truly inspiring.

We’re so pleased we could step in and help at short notice, and it means a lot to be part of something that brings people together in such a positive way.

There’s something really special about today’s delivery 💙

This morning we’re supplying 100 beautiful rainbow trout for Cancer & Pisces – an incredible charity that gives people living with cancer the chance to learn to fly fish, completely free of charge 🎣

This was a last-minute request, and we were so pleased to be able to step in and help. It’s moments like this that remind us why we love what we do.

It’s a busy week here at the farm with fish heading out every day – and we’re back up to Scotland again on Thursday! 🚛🐟
