Pier Pressure has always ruffled some feathers due to it’s classification, and rightly so – we’d expect no less from the no.1 rated beer in its category in the UK on Untappd!

But what makes a lager a lager? And if we’re not a lager, then what are we?... (existential crisis pending)

To Shed some light on the matter we’ve written a short blog to briefly explain the difference between lagers, ales, and kolsch beers, as well as delving into the ingredients and brewing methods we personally use to produce Pier Pressure. 🤫

New Horizon - Now Even Newer!

How you ask? Well the answer is two fold, firstly we’ve switched the style up to keep it more contemporary, by embarking on a flavour road trip from West Coast to East Coast and resulted in a more New England style of Pale Ale..

Imagine softer bitterness, juicier hop flavour, intense citrus aroma, and tantalising oaty haze... and on top of all that it’s now naturally gluten free as well vegan!

We’ve always utilised the best of both worlds with this beer by creating a harmonic symphony of flavours from the use of the finest all UK grown malts, along with the most aromatic American hop varieties.

Introducing Silver Linings 6% NEIPA ⛅️

Bold grapefruit, tropical and citrus notes from a frivolous use of Amarillo, Citra and Ekuanot, complemented with an equally liberal use of oats and wheat for a smooth body and pillowy soft mouth feel 🍻

Brewing this one has been a very expressive process for us and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! 🤩

Our webshop has a preorder option for delivery in the next week or so, and we’ll be posting a list of all the local taprooms you can find it pouring for our debut shortly!
