Seafood Plymouth We're on a mission to open the eyes of our community to the deliciously wild wonders on our shores

09/09/2026

It’s been a busy week preparing for my return to school for my final year, with exams on the horizon.

In between studying boat refurbishments and gaming, I’ve also managed to get out fishing, and yes, the fish have finally turned up! 🎣

Next Monday (14th) I will be in the community hall for a cook-up with the Rame food and drink group, where we will be showing a screening of the film I was fortunate enough to be involved in.

I’ve attached the poster below. It would be great to see some of you there!

Thanks,
Antony

🌊🐟Britain’s first ever National Harvest of the Sea

For centuries, we’ve celebrated the harvest from our fields. This October, for the first time, we’ll come together to celebrate the harvest from our seas.

On Sunday 11 October at 6pm, Exeter Cathedral will host the inaugural National Harvest of the Sea — celebrating the fishermen and women, fishing families & coastal communities who bring nutritious, sustainable British seafood to our tables.

It takes place on the final day of British Food Fortnight — the 25th anniversary year of the national celebration of British food.

Love British Food is proud to support this new tradition alongside the fishing industry, Seafish and The Fishermen’s Mission.

🎣 Sunday 11 October | 6pm | Exeter Cathedral
Free entry — everyone welcome.

Come and celebrate the harvest from our seas. 🇬🇧
