The last Saturday of the month can only mean one thing ... a night of food, feasting, friendships, music and culture under the popular banner of International Dinner!

Back by popular demand, we again look forward to celebrating Japan's famous 'Children's Day' - a national holiday in early May symbolised with kites and colour. Come and learn about this colourful tradition, try out a Kimono and have a go at some traditional origami.

We also discover the true roots of St George's Day and celebrate the birthday of the world's most famous bard - William Shakespeare!

56 guests from 14 countries enjoyed a fun evening celebrating the lunar new year of the ‘Fire Horse’ with traditional new year treats including noodles, spring rolls, Shanghainese cookies and tangerines. Thanks everyone! See you for Naw-Ruz next month 💕

This is your year! Welcome to our celebration of the Chinese Year of the Horse - 7th out of the 12-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac. People born in the year of the horse exude enthusiasm and passion and should expect a lucky, strong and active year burning with fiery intensity.

A special call-out to our wonderful Chinese friends! Come and help us celebrate the Lunar New Year and an evening of delicious food, feasting, friendships, music and culture. We want to learn all about the characteristics of this new year from you and identify fellow Year of the Horse diners too.

We look forward to EVERYONE joining in and bringing your own unique contribution of colourful and delicious dishes, home comfort foods and traditional family recipes from all corners of the world. Help us learn about your cultural food and cuisine and add your personal magic to the evening.

One of our wonderful guests channeled his Robbie Burns and penned this poem in honour of January’s dinner …

It was an international night
With international friends
That I sampled international food
Scottish “dunnee ken”
A piper piped the haggis in
You should have seen the sight
The piper really puffed and blowed
And played with all his might
The food was so delicious
From countries near and far
We all ate our fill
For the best part of an hour
It goes to show that love and friends
Can conquer anything
If only all leaders were like us
And got the world to sing
