Who needs Notting Hill Carnival when International Dinner bought the party to town celebrating the cuisine, culture and music of Ukraine, welcoming many new guests and celebrating with birthday cake. Outstanding food in the company of amazing guests!

INTERNATIONAL DINNER
SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 2026
6:30pm - 9:30pm

International Dinner is getting into the carnival feel this August. As the Notting Hill carnival gets underway in London the very same day, we hold our own colourful celebration showcasing your delicious dishes and culinary contributions.
So get cooking, bring along your party food and help us learn about what you like to eat at celebrations.

Adding even more colour to the occasion will be the culture, music and colourful costumes of Ukraine, fresh after their national day celebrations. If you have costumes fit for a carnival, why not bring them along to help us party!

Prefer not to cook? Then buy something to contribute instead. Financial donations are also hugely appreciated to ensure there's enough food for everyone to enjoy.

Lots to enjoy as we carry on the summer sun and fun at the biggest dinner party in town!

Youth can move the world - and they did just that at the June International Dinner! Delicious dishes cooked by them and their families for everyone to enjoy. They came, they cooked and they addressed everyone with brilliant eloquence. Plymouth’s future is bright! Wonderful to collaborate with the Zebra Collective.

This month International Dinner, in collaboration with the Zebra
Collective, is delighted to welcome a very special group of guest cooks who will be adding their dishes alongside yours.
Youth from the UK, Syria, Sudan, Poland, Romania and Iran will be offering dishes that reflect their family roots and favourite flavours. We'll be celebrating them and their delicious culinary creations alongside your own. Please come along to support and encourage our incredible youth and bring your family members along too!

The last Saturday of the month can only mean one thing ... a night of food, feasting, friendships, music and culture under the popular banner of International Dinner!

Back by popular demand, we again look forward to celebrating Japan's famous 'Children's Day' - a national holiday in early May symbolised with kites and colour. Come and learn about this colourful tradition, try out a Kimono and have a go at some traditional origami.

We also discover the true roots of St George's Day and celebrate the birthday of the world's most famous bard - William Shakespeare!
