WE. ARE. BACK!

This is not a drill! We have been away thinking about the lovely summer and the flavours that come with it.

“Arroz a Banda”

Today in the kitchen, we decided it was time to explore the flavours of summer. Enough of the dark evenings, bring us long sunny evenings!
Soo, we present to you a taste of summer- Arroz a Banda !
Juicy squid, prawns, home made fish stock, with the notes of rosemary and saffron we know and love.

Different to classic paella but just as delicious!

One thing we strongly believe in at is that homemade is the best!
In each and every paella ordered, goes chef Fernando’s homemade ingredients.
Pictured, you have his tomato sauce and rosemary oil.
Now, you may be suprised at the colour of the tomato sauce. We were too! Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you, it is orange not red.
That is because it currently not the season for tomatoes. Whilst we CAN get tomatoes all year round, during the winter months you will struggle to find those bright red, juicy and intensely flavoured tomatoes you get during summer or travelling abroad to Italy or Spain 🍅
But don’t fret! Whilst it is not the season, Fernando’s slow cooked recipe, releases the intense flavour of the tomatoes so it is just as delicious despite the colour not being as expected.

So, long story short, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile and making everything from scratch. From simple elements such as rosemary oil, to our 5hour recipe for our stocks, you have our word that it is homemade through and through!

We make the paella’s in a traditional way; in a paella pan over an open flame before packing them up all piping hot and delivering them to you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Yes, we agree it would be much nicer to enjoy this delicious paella on the beach in Valencia watching the sun set with your friends, but we promise these paellas will be a little ray of sunshine until your next holiday!

Paella heaven!

Wether you order our vegan paella, paella negra, paella Valencia or the chicken and pork paella, you will not be disappointed!
This is what our kitchen looked like before we delivered to two separate customers!
Pretty impressive to whip up 3 paellas in such a small space don’t you think?!
