A week full of memories. ❤️

From celebrating an anniversary…
To first-day and last-day school memories…
To an early Father’s Day and precious moments by the sea…

To listening to Rebekah play the piano, filling our home with music as she has done for so many years. The house will feel a little quieter while she is away, and I know I will miss hearing those melodies drifting through the rooms each day.

And finally, an airport goodbye we had all been dreading.

Yet through every moment, we are reminded that the Lord has led us every step of the way. While goodbyes are never easy, we trust His plans, His timing, and His purpose.

As parents, we spend years preparing our children to step into the plans God has for them. Sometimes that means letting go, trusting Him with what we treasure most, and watching from a distance as He works.

We already see His hand in this journey, and we cannot wait to see how He moves in the days ahead.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

Truth is, this week has been a difficult one.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but this is the first time as a family that we’ve had to say goodbye for longer than just a few days. We’ve all felt it. There have been many tears, plenty of hugs, and lots of mixed emotions. But alongside that, there has been so much joy and excitement for what lies ahead.

Today, Rebekah heads to Dublin Airport to begin her summer at camp in America. As she goes, she’ll be carrying the light of Jesus with her, and we take great comfort in knowing that God has gone before her, has her covered, and will protect her every step of the way.

We will miss her more than words can express, but we know this: she is going to be amazing, lives will be impacted, and we will be okay.

For the rest of the weekend, we’ll be adjusting to an empty seat at the table while preparing for the Derry Maritime Festival and Tedberry Market.

Messages like this continue to encourage us to keep going and why we do what we do.

Recently, we received a message from a customer in Derry, who shared her personal experience with our Extra Strength Non-Alcoholic Ginger Wine.

She told us that she lives with fibromyalgia, neurological challenges, ADHD, obstructive sleep apnoea and severe bowel issues. In her own words:
