We’ve finally locked in this months live tasting - and it’s shaping up to be an incredible evening.

This month we’re piloting two extended shows. The first, will be to hero the tremendous new 12 - which has been a fan favourite since it landed earlier this month. We’re excited to welcome Murdo - Benromach’s very own Distillery Manager.

Then, we’ve got an extended format to walk through 3… count em! 3! Of the delicious refreshed range from The Busker - our thanks to them for the rare treat for our Discovery members. Woody from the team will be here to walk us through the range.

Happy Saturday, everyone - story time 🥃

When I got offered the gig here at Wh**ky Me, it coincided with a trip up to Forres, to see one of my close friends who had moved up from Glasgow.

The itinerary for this visit? It began with a tour of his nearby distillery - Benromach!

An icy cold, but clear day was my perfect introduction - and when we got the thumbs up that we’d be helping launch the all new Benromach 12 - it was a lovely, full circle moment!

Here are some snaps from our day. That’s me who naively didn’t have a much needed puffer jacket at the end 😅🤦🏻

Well, with it being July 4th - there felt no better time to announce our Discovery Drop for this month - even if a little early 👀

Introducing Makers ‘46 - the first ever extension to the Makers Mark range at the time it was added since the 50s!

Finished by inserting seared French oak staves into the barrels (pure bait for at this months live tasting) - the result is a bolder, crisper expression - that still lives up to “bourbon without the burn.”

Now whilst we did try to wax melt dip a pouch or two (to horrendous results) - we can’t wait to bring you this delicious wh**ky over the next few weeks 📦
