Happy everyone! This week we're focusing on a basic.

You may think your mixes sound really good when listening at a higher volume, but this is actually really deceptive.

Make sure you always listen to your mixes at a lower volume to help you hear what your plugins are doing and give your ears a bit of a rest 👂

This one is pretty fun. If you hear a sound when you're out and about that you think would be cool in a mix, record it! Could be building work or maybe even a certain tone a bird sings. Whatever it is, get it recorded. You may never use them, but they're always good to have 🎙️
