The bank holiday weather is not great for us , but has been fantastic for the vegetables . 🌽
Finally some good growing weather 😁

The new hens have just started laying eggs 🥚 it will still take a while before they are all laying but it’s a good start 👍

Grass is healthier for a cows stomach than grain .
Cows love to be out in a field compared to being fattened in a building .
Cows are healthier than being intensively fed and reared.

It’s true most butchers/ local shops sell the same beef and lamb that is sold in a supermarket.
The thing I think we need to do in this country is be a lot more honest and transparent especially in labelling 👍
We aim to be the best by having higher animal welfare and grass fed as making our product the best quality, but there is always room for different quality and price tag .
I find it most frustrating when people try to make their product out to be better than supermarkets but it’s exactly the same thing just packaging and making you think it’s better.
Honesty and transparency would go a long way in the food chain 👌
