Mortimer’s micro-bakery creates handmade organic bread & treats to delight locals & make a difference

Great Little Bakery is a micro-bakery based in Mortimer, Berkshire. We seek out the finest ingredients and use only organic flour and dairy, plus fair-trade ingredients where possible. Every loaf is handmade from start to finish and baked to order, so there is no waste. We also encourage customers to bring reusable bags and tins to minimise packaging. We have always wanted the business to bless those in need both locally and around the world and it’s exciting to see this happen! Profits from the bakery have enabled us to sponsor young children through Compassion and many female bakers around the world through Kiva. In addition, we have regular giving days where all sales goes to a specific charity that has touched our hearts.
