Jessica Rae once again stood out for all the right reasons, delivering another outstanding performance and continuing to add goals to her game - something that has been a long time coming and is now becoming a regular feature of her performances.

Her first goal of the day showcased her determination and awareness. Racing in behind the defence, Jessica pounced on a loose touch from the goalkeeper, nicked possession, spun brilliantly on the touch and produced a composed chip over the recovering keeper before any defender could come to the rescue.

Her second goal came at a crucial moment when the team had their backs against the wall. Showing incredible individual quality, Jessica created the opportunity entirely on her own. With some unbelievable footwork, she beat two defenders before curling a superb effort into the far corner, leaving the opposition goalkeeper with absolutely no chance.

After last season, we challenged players to step up and contribute more goals to the team, and Jessica has answered that call in style. She is now consistently finding the back of the net, creating chances for her teammates, and showcasing the technical ability that makes her such a threat on the wing.

A fantastic performance and a thoroughly deserved Player of the Match award.
