We are so proud of our community after an incredible Murdoch Day and Redruth Pride!
This year’s Murdoch Day theme was Pride in Community, and it was the perfect celebration of the people, places and organisations that make our town so special, and the communities we’re proud to be part of and work with: inclusive spaces, independent businesses, market traders, cultural organisations, heritage buildings, our town’s history and traditions, musicians, artists, food producers, community groups, LGBTQI+ community and all the incredible, vibrant people bringing new life into our town centre.
A huge thank you to Redruth Pride, Bond Street Collective and Discover Redruth for organising such a fantastic day of events, and to Paul Armer, Last Dog Standing, Redruth Daytime Choir, House of Damnation with Evilyn Carnate, Roxie Moron, Object, Miss Tache and our resident DJ No-Sight Stu for bringing so much energy to the courtyard.
And most of all, a big shoutout to everyone who came along, supported our independent businesses, feasted on some street food, sipped an After-Party cocktail and made the courtyard such a welcoming and inclusive place to be.
Here’s to celebrating Redruth, and everyone who fills it with joy ❤️
