Did y’all miss meeeee?🥰
I’m back in the kitchen more creative than ever, and today I want to share with you all one of my latest delicious ideas, a Nigerian style baked salmon 😋 and here is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
🔥 1kg boneless salmon
🔥 suya spice
🔥 chopped garlic paste
🔥 1 scotch bonnet pepper (you can use 2/3 if you’re a hot spicy lover)
🔥 2 red bell peppers (It turned out to be a lot so you can just use 2 halves of different colours
🔥 4 spring onions
🔥 mashed potatoes
🔥 4 slices of emmental cheese
🔥 a coffee size cup of milk
🔥 butter
🔥 grated parmesan
🔥 a pinch of salt and pepper
🔥 a little sprinkle of flour if the mashed potato turns too watery, if not no need
🔥 seasonings: cajun, curry, parsley to decorate, and whatever seasonings you like
PREPARATION:
🔥 remove all scales from back of salmon but keep the skin, it’s so juicy and flavoured, just a bit fatty tho 😂
🔥 rub the suya spice and spread garlic paste and place in oven 180/200 degrees for the whole duration while you prepare the other ingredients (not sure how long but keep an eye ahahh)
🔥 chop all your veggies and set aside for them to be fried
🔥 mix the mashed potato with butter, emmental cheese, butter, Parmesan and a bit of milk, when it’s all melted and smooth in the pan, add seasonings and make sure you keep steering so there’s no hard bits eww 😷😂 set aside and let it cool
🔥 add oil in fry pan and fry all your veggies together, on this one you don’t need to add too much seasoning or salt cause the salmon will be flavoured enough, but up to you 😋
🔥 when the salmon is ready place in your plate and decorate however it’s more aesthetically pleasing, but the smell and the looks might make you forget to make it look nice ahah
🔥 enjoy your Nigerian style salmon 🥵❤️🔥
