🆙 Not only did the 1s pick up their first win of the season on Saturday but Saturdays MOTM, Jack Leech has also picked up the North Rugby player of the round too!

😉 Now this may come as surprise to many given that either Holmesy, Ross or Jimmy could all have pickled MOTM over Jack on Saturday but credit where credit is due, there’s life in the old dog yet!

💚 All jokes aside, and regardless of his fear of carpet, I’m going to use this as a bit of a Jack Leech appreciation post. Theres a reason he’s scored over 200 tries for the 1st XV, his commitment and his professionalism to his training, preparation and his recovery is a thing to behold. As he’s got older he’s continued to improve and adapt his game to suit and no doubt the 1st name on the team sheet each week. Just a shame you won’t see him on a social these days 😢

Well done Jack!

🏉 The rain stayed away, the pitch was fair to middling and it was a day for the old experienced riders…

🐎 After a strong first half with a brace from 2 try Tommy (as he calls himself), the Bach went in ahead!

🚀 Eventually the 1st XV ran out 24-12 winners against to take their first win of the season! Our Man of the match was who is supported by

❤️ The 2nd XV put in a very strong performance away at eventually loosing 40-7! MOTM was Big Red… is available for support!

💚 The 3rd XV had a points fest and eventually lost 36-29! Jonny Morris bagged a brace and an MOTM! Jonny is supported by Town and Country Property Auctions!

💛 Thanks again for all your support today as always!

Well done Jack!

🏉 Todays season opener saw the ‘Bach travel to newly promoted

☀️ The sun was shining and as anticipated Leek were full of confidence after a couple of strong seasons under their belt!

🤝 In the end Leek ran out 18-13 winners! In a much changed Sandbach squad the lads showed some glimpses of what’s to come but didn’t quite hit the levels they would want!

🎯 Man of the Match was the big bald carrying 12

🥛 Leechy is supported by again this season!
