We wanted to let you know that Bun & Stone will be taking a brief break while our amazing team enjoys some well-deserved leave.

We explored the option of staying open with agency staff to keep serving you, but unfortunately, the quality just wasn’t up to the high standards we pride ourselves on delivering. We deeply apologise to anyone who may have experienced this—your experience matters to us, and we want every meal to be exceptional.

Rather than compromise on quality, we’ve made the tough decision to temporarily close until our fantastic team is back and ready to serve you properly!

Thank you so much for your understanding and support. We promise that when we return, it’ll be worth the wait.

We'd appreciate if you could give this a read! First off, thank you to everyone who’s ordered and shared amazing feedback about our food. We’re thrilled Sandbach is loving what we’re cooking!

But we’ve noticed something frustrating. While you’re raving about the taste, freshness, and quality, our order ratings have dropped from 5 stars. Why? Well our reviews are informing us it’s down to inconsistency with Deliveroo drivers.

We hate hearing that sometimes our food isn’t reaching you the way we intended—hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s disappointing to know that even when you love the meal, delays in delivery have led to lower reviews. And we hear you loud and clear!

So, we’re taking control. We’re in the process of introducing our own delivery team to ensure your meals arrive hot, fresh, and just as we intended.

Wow—what a launch it’s been so far! Each day has been a new personal best, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support from all of you.

Of course, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing (we may or may not have accidentally handed someone an alcohol-free beer—oops!). But overall, the team has absolutely smashed it, and we’re so proud of how far we’ve come in just a few days.

We’ve also taken the opportunity to streamline our weekday opening hours slightly, ensuring that your food delivery is more reliable and arrives just as fresh and hot as we intended.

Thank you for making this such an incredible start. We’re excited to keep bringing you real, fresh, and delicious meals, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!

After monitoring our evening service, we’ve noticed that late at night, there aren’t as many Deliveroo drivers available in the area. Unfortunately, this has led to longer delivery times than we’re happy with, and we don’t believe that’s the level of service you deserve.

To ensure our food reaches you fresh and hot, as it’s meant to, we’ve made the decision to amend our weekday closing hours slightly earlier. Please note, this change won’t affect our weekend hours, as the availability of drivers is much higher then.

We truly apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the best possible experience for you.

Thank you again for all your support—it means the world to us! These new closing hours will be active from today onwards🙏

Hey Sandbach! Myself and the team would really appreciate it if you gave this a quick read through – we’re a brand-new restaurant with a city-inspired twist... we ONLY deliver!

After moving back to Sandbach from the city, we noticed two things: how much we missed our town (obviously!) and how there wasn’t any stand out delivery services, offering the kind of fresh, high-quality meals and alcoholic drinks we loved so much in the city. Since the move our at-home date nights were on emergency life support! So, we decided to do something about it.

That’s how Bun & Stone was born. We’re all about providing restaurant-quality food straight to your sofa. No frozen rubbish here—just freshly prepared meals made by a real chef in a proper kitchen. From 8oz steak burgers to real triple-cooked chips and stone-baked pizzas, we’ve got something for everyone. Plus, we offer a great selection of beers, wines and desserts to make your meal feel like a special occasion, every time.

We believe takeaway should be a treat, not a compromise, and that’s what we’re here to deliver. We want to make you feel like you’ve had a proper meal, not just something to fill the gap.
