Ammi's Kitchen is a not for profit social enterprise working with women from diverse backgrounds, in the local community. Profits from Ammi's Kitchen go to supporting women in need and paying for our specialised ESOL Food Hygiene course to support women to get their certificate, skills and potential employment at Ammi's Kitchen and even beyond! We are part of Family Voice Sheffield Community Interest Company (not for profit) which has 3 Directors, 2 signatories on the account and is registered with Companies House - 11520784.

AMAZING NEWS!

Ammi's Kitchen won the Social Voice & Community Impact Award (voted by judges) at the Sheffield Business Awards last night.

Additionally, we were honoured to receive the People's Choice Award, voted by the audience on the night.

On Friday, 23rd OCTOBER, Ammi's Kitchen presents a delightful IRAQI TAKEAWAY 🥘, by chef 🧑🏾‍🍳 Aedah.

Join us for a Sri Lankan pop-up lunch, at the Union St, cooked by the talented Chef Gowri! 👩‍🍳 Wednesday, 14th October 📅

🥘 Menu Highlights:
Mixed Vegetable Curry (cauliflower, aubergine, green beans, potato and pepper curry in a spicy tomato sauce)
Paripu Daal (red lentil daal with spinach, spices and coconut milk)
Alongside Basmati rice
Traditional Aloo Paratha and Naan
Plus, delicious Chutneys

If you want to go for a smaller meal, ask for Daal Chawal: daal + rice + 1 chutney.

We are a non-profit kitchen where local women from different cultures come together to cook family recipes. The food is then picked up and enjoyed by paying members of the local community.
