🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Hi all,

So before we go on, this isn’t a pitty post, just real life 😂

I have decided to close for Christmas early, I am also going to be taking some time to decide the future of Little Yorke’s Bakes 😔

As things stand at the moment, I haven’t made any profit since starting in June and it is now actually costing me to send orders out 😩 things have been made a lot harder since having the children educating at home (like I said above, this is not a pitty post, just keeping you up to date and being real) this has meant I haven’t been able to expand like I wanted to, I’ve had so many big ideas I’ve wanted to do and it just hasn’t panned out. What with illness, children, other life priorities, lack of storage space and trying to compete with bigger not local businesses, it’s proven very hard!

I personally don’t have the finances to keep chucking into the business at the moment which makes me so sad as I love what I do, but I can’t change my circumstances right now. I’m really hopeful that in the new year I can re open, but at the moment, for my own mental health I need to have a little break.

I really hope you can all understand 🙏🏼

Who can guess what I’m experimenting with? 🤔🍫🪵🎄

I have loved getting back in the kitchen this afternoon after feeling poorly this week. I am back ready to go 💪🏼

So with Christmas only just over two weeks away, who can guess what I am going be introducing next week? 🤔

🚨 FLU HAS HIT ME HARD 🚨

I can’t believe the chances of this, but I’ve been hit with flu which has meant I’ve had to sadly cancel my attendance at this weekends events 😭

Due to hygiene reasons, I can’t do any baking until I’m better which probably by the time that happens, I simply won’t have enough to time to bake and prep for this weekends upcoming events 😔 so I’ve had to make the decision now to give as much notice as possible to the event organisers.

It’s so typical as I’ve not had any illness since last year, so I just can’t believe it’s hit me this week!

The events themselves are still running 🎉 so if you are looking for some Christmassy things to do this weekend you can still pop along 🎄🎁

I’m so excited for my next event at Loxley CofE Primary School Christmas Fayre 🎄🎁 it’s on 3.30pm-5.30pm on the 5th December. There’s going to be some great stalls there and an AMAZING RAFFLE! Take a look at the second picture for some details 🫶🏻

I will be bringing some yummy Christmas inspired flavours with me to get us all in the mood 🎄🧑🏻‍🎄 this is honestly my most favourite time of year!

I brought some of my Christmas flavours to my last event and they were such a hit, especially my After Eight Mint chocolate brownies and my Terrys Chocolate Orange flavour 🤤

I do have two events that weekend, but I will post shortly with some more info on my second event, but get this one on the diary 🖊️

Gingerbread Men 🙌🏼🎄

I am fully getting myself in the Christmas mood!! I know, I know, it’s not been Halloween or Bonfire Night yet 🙈

I just love Christmas!!! I am a bit like Buddy The Elf 😂 I’ve got my first Christmas Event tomorrow at the Village Hall in Pebworth, 11am-3pm 🎄🎁 I’m really looking forward to it and so I have the Christmas music on today ( of course) whilst baking ready for the event on Saturday.

I will have some of my usual suspects of goodies along with some festive goodies to tie in with the event and time of the year!

I am so ready for this!!! 🙌🏼🎄🎁🧑🏻‍🎄
