I wanted to say a big thank you to all our lovely customers.

We've had some issues with our Pea seeds over the last few weeks and we've had to cancel/postpone/amend orders and generally let people down which isn't a nice thing to do. It has happened before but not for a long time!

In a newsletter that I receive from who is a Microgreen grower up in Leeds, it was centred on how important the germination stage is in growing and I couldn't agree more. Get that bit right and you are 80% of the way there.

Anyway I'm pleased to say that I've got some new seeds and next week's crop is looking a whole lot better

I'll save you a picture of a horribly germinated pea seed tray and instead show you some lovely Amaranth (which we haven't grown in a good few years) and we did manage to put in our deliveries this week.

Over the last year or so I have become a bit of a pizza obsessive, I think it might be my mid life crises, which if it is, isn't too bad!

Neopolitan, New York, Roman, London style...the list is endless, all very different each with their own history of how they came to be.

Anyway, I cooked up a Detroit style this weekend very much inspired by Sarv’s Slice in London.

Turns out it was a great way to showcase some of the produce we currently have growing.

We are making a pilgrimage down to the big smoke next month and can't wait to try the real thing!

L U N C H 💚 T O D A Y

Dhal filled with veg feom Shropshire Organics , toms from the garden 🍅 and pea shoots on the side 💚

This heat means that Paul has to harvest through the night - our little greens do wilt easily in this heat ☀️

The upside of that is that he's not too busy today to set up the paddling pool 🌊 who needs sleep eh?! 😂
